Acme-Hardesty's bio-based polyethylene glycols (PEGs) are one of our many sustainable and completely renewable alternatives to conventional industrial chemicals. They are ideal for applications where a renewable product is preferred over a petro-based product. Our bio-based PEGs perform the same functions as standard, petro-based PEGs. They are produced from bagasse, the fibrous waste that remains after sugar cane stalks are crushed to extract their juice.
PEGs can be used in a wide range of applications like water-based paints, polyurethane foams, hot-melt adhesives, epoxy adhesives, wood stains, synthetic lubricants, hydraulic fluids, latex paint, metalworking fluids, and inks. Our PEGs are available in 200, 300, and 400 NF Grades in liquid form. For more information on our products you can contact us here
